What is Secure SDLC?

The Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) is a method for organizing software development patterns into a series stages (the life cycle) that run from planning and defining requirements through maintenance of the fully functional software. SDLC is a cycle since reaching the maintenance stage for one set of requirements often leads to planning and defining of new improvement oriented requirements for the product, causing the cycle to repeat. Secure SDLC refers to a set of practices that infuse security measures into every distinct stage of the SDLC.
